The precinct chair is a figure of utmost importance for the smallest unit of the party; additionally, these individuals have an active responsibility both within and for the party which they represent. It should be expected of these individuals to:
-
- 1. Promote and grow the local county party.
-
- 2. Work to elect candidates into office.
Firstly, the duties of the precinct chair in your county should be to identify, inform, register and turnout voters in their area. Secondly, the job of the precinct chair should be to affiliate themselves with the voters and provide opportunities for the general public to become involved in local politics.
